Pink Faith’s 3rd annual breast cancer fundraiser
AFTON – The 3rd Annual Pink Faith Fundraiser will be held on Saturday, Oct. 24 from 1 to 5 p.m. at The River Club, 1 Maple Street, Afton.
Proceeds from the fundraiser will help local breast cancer patients in their time of need.
Special guests include Rosie Cepero, Pink Faith co-founder and TLC’s Angels Among Us star and Author, Michelle Irene. There will be over 30 vendors, 50/50 raffles, basket raffles and live auctions and pie auctions.
Entertainment for the day begins at 1 p.m. with Laughtercise, and from 1:30-2 p.m., DJ by Powerhouse Entertainment. Enjoy the melodic performance of Frankie Cepero and students of One Love Productions with Mary Frances Perricone from 2 to 3 p.m. Live auctions will be held from 3 to 3:30 p.m. and American Idol’s Kaitlyn Jackson will be performing from 3:30 to 5 p.m., along with John Jackson.
Tammy Palmatier, Rosie Cepero and Kim Nerzak started Pink Faith of Chenango and Broome Counties over three years ago in hopes of easing the burden of extra expenses for local breast cancer patients. Their newest member to join is Wendy Stulir.
