The Cyclones overwhelmed the Utica Bulldogs 29-6 to reach the playoff final. The Cyclones scored early, on their first possession as Cameron Byrne raced 31 yards to pay dirt. After the score Andrew Mullen kicked the two point, point after touchdown (P.A.T.).
Mullen added an 11-yard touchdown run in the second, and the Cyclones added the P.A.T. on a pass from Michael Squires to Byrne. Squires added a 3-yard TD in the second, with Mullen’s P.A.T. kick good for a 23-0 halftime lead.
Griffin Mills hit Jaden Jenkins on a 15-yard TD pass in the third to go up 29-0.
Michael Squires ran through the Bulldogs for 121 yards on 15 carries behind great blocking by the Cyclone line.
The Cyclone defense played tough against the Bulldogs with Mills, Mullen, Byrne, Squires, Ashton Jenkins, Dylan Bresee, Izaiah Cabellero, Jared Houck, Ben Glanville, Tyler Jones, Jaden Jenkins, Mason Edwards, and Mallachi Gaters all leading the charge.
