Two-vehicle collision shuts down Rt. 12
A section of State Highway Route 12 just north of the Turner Street intersection in the Town of Oxford was shut down for approximately an hour Wednesday evening as emergency personnel from the Oxford Fire Department worked in conjunction with NY State Police of Troop C to clear the scene of a two-vehicle MVC. According to County Dispatch records, the call was received shortly after 4 p.m., no injuries were reported and the incident was classified as property damage only. State Police would not confirm which driver was at fault, and no tickets were issued.
