Greene boys basketball opens season

MORAVIA - On Saturday, November 28, the Greene boys varsity basketball team traveled to Moravia to compete in the Moravia season opener tournament. Greene would ultimately lose their first game, but would come back on Saturday to win the second against Thomas Edison 64-59.

The Trojans were lead by Luke Day on Saturday who earned 19 points over the course of the game. Although Greene was out-rebounded most of the game, their offense held fast and pulled through for the win to open their season.

The Greene boys scored the majority of their points in the paint, shooting 19-37 from inside the box and totaling 38 points.
