Annual holiday celebration dinner

GREENE – This past Wednesday, Dec. 9, the Chenango County Magistrates Association held its annual holiday celebration and dinner at the Genegantslet Golf Club and Restaurant, in Greene, New York. Several justices from the 28 towns and villages throughout Chenango County were in attendance.
Although the annual event is primarily a celebration, nevertheless, the Association does conduct some year end business which includes the recognition of retiring justices, and the swearing in of the new Association Officers for 2016.
This year, recently retired Justice Richard Fornito, of the Town of Columbus and recently retired Justice David Daniels, of the Town of Guilford, were recognized for their years of service. Outgoing Association President, Justice Randall Lambrecht, of the Town of Bainbridge, was cited for his commitment to duty; honor; and country, both as a career military man and as a Justice.
Chenango County Court Judge Frank B. Revoir Jr., was present and conducted the swearing in ceremony for the new 2016 Association Officers.
