Christmas weekend arrests

ONEONTA – Two Chenango County individuals were arrested by the New York State Police at Oneonta over the Christmas weekend.
• On December 23, the New York State Police at Oneonta arrested Shannon L. Morrison, 47, of Unadilla, for driving while intoxicated.
Following an investigation, it was determined that Morrison had a blood alcohol content of .10 percent.
The arrest resulted from a motor vehicle accident on State Route 28 in Franklin.
Morrison was processed at State Police at Oneonta and issued traffic tickets returnable to the Town of Franklin Court on January 14, 2016.
• On Christmas Day, Dec. 25, the New York State Police at Oneonta also arrested Travis J. Coss, 23, of Morris, for criminal mischief in the fourth degree, a class A misdemeanor.
The arrest was made following an investigation of a domestic dispute that allegedly occurred in the Town of Morris.
Coss was arraigned in the Town of Morris Court and remanded to the Otsego County Correctional facility in lieu of $500 cash bail, where he will await any further court dates.
