Tornado girls sail to easy win at Windsor

WINDSOR - The Norwich girls varsity basketball team had no problem leaving Windsor with a win on Tuesday night in a painless 76-19 victory.
The Tornado girls didn’t allow Windsor to score more than 6 points in any given quarter, and they cruised past the Black Knights to move to 11-4 overall on the season.
Every Norwich player scored in the contest, with four Norwich players scoring in the double-digits. Mackenzie Maynard led the way with 16 points, and behind her was Bridget Murphy with 12 points. Meghan Komendarek and Kate Dowdall each netted 10 apiece.
Norwich faces a tough, in-conference opponent at Owego tonight. Tornado Head Coach Josh Bennett had to say about the matchup, “Owego is very good, it’s going to be a great test for us.”
Tip-off begins at 7:00 p.m.
