MORRIS – The Morris Central School Teachers Association is rallying against the school district in an attempt to get a fair contract for teachers.
The MTA has been without a contract since the start of the current school year. The previous contract expired June 30, 2015.
MTA reps are currently in the third round of mediation negotiations with district officials to negotiate a solution to the impasse. Sticking points include salary increases, employee health insurance benefits, and daily employment policies.
