BAINBRIDGE – The Chenango County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Jodi E. Babcock, 34, of Bainbridge early this morning Jan. 29, 2016.

Babcock was originally pulled over for a simple traffic stop by Chenango County Sheriff's Deputy Lawrence, on State Highway 7, in the Town of Bainbridge.

Various vehicle and traffic violations led to the original traffic stop, including a charge of, operating a suspended vehicle, aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle, and loud exhaust.

During the course of the traffic stop, Deputy Lawrence allegedly did locate several hypodermic needles, as well as the narcotic drug heroin.
