CSPCA readies for annual Fur Ball
NORWICH – The Chenango SPCA (CSPCA) is hosting its 12th Annual Valentine Fur Ball on Saturday, Feb. 13 at the Canasawacta Country Club in the town of Norwich.
For 2016, the themed event will pay homage to The Kentucky Derby, and event organizers encourage everyone to dress in classic Derby attire, wild derby hats included.
The Fur Ball offers an elegant, heart-filled evening featuring live music from the Bruce Beadle band, T C Horn Band. Guests will enjoy light gourmet fare, pawsitively delicious desserts, a cash bar, silent auction featuring many items, a Casino room and even a bit of horse racing.
Festivities are slated for 7 - 11 p.m. The event, sponsored by Staffworks, Penny Saver & Evening Sun, NBT Mang Insurance, NBT Bank, Kerry Bio Science, Sidney Federal Credit Union, Burrell Excavating, BlueOx, Chobani, Air Temp Heating and Air Conditioning, Golden Artist Colors and many local businesses, will raise funds to support the homeless and abused animals cared for by the CSPCA.
