ITHACA – Two Tornado throwers put up a great showing at the New York State Indoor Track Championships, which were held at Cornell University, in Ithaca, last weekend, Mar. 5.

David Bernstein reset his personal best, as well as well as set a new Section IV record, throwing 65 feet, nine inches in the weight throw to clinch the third spot on the podium, while Thomas Reilly threw 50 feet, four inches to earn ninth place. He missed finals by just one thrower. Katelyn Shaver couldn’t attend the Championships due to an injury.
