Mixed League results

NORWICH – The ‘Alley Oops’ came out on top against seven other teams last Tuesday night, Mar. 8, at the weekly Tuesday Afternoon Mixed League, held at the Family Recreation Lanes, in Norwich.
The ‘Alley Oops’ finished with 49 points in the victory. Coming in second were the ‘Murphy’s Law’, with 46 points, while ‘Rolling Stones’ came in third, scoring 42 points on the night.
The top three men’s bowlers on the night were: Larry Mudge, who boasted both the highest three game series on the night, bowling a 555, and best single game-high of 244; Jim Kenyon, who had a 554 series, with a game-high of 227 and Dick Lakin, who finished with a 546 series.
On the women’s side, Barb Huggins had the highest series, throwing a 529, as well as the league best single game-high of 199. Judy Harrington ended with a 481 three-game series, and a single game tally of 183 while Shirley Cummings finished the night with a 446 series.
