NORWICH – The Golden 20’s league met up Wednesday night, Mar. 9, to host their weekly competition. ‘Challengers’ ran out the eventual winners, notching up 51 total points. Only a one-point margin separated them from ‘On “D” Ball’ in second, with 50 points, and ‘Act II’, who also recorded 50 points.

The best three bowlers on the night on the men’s side were: Don May, who finished with the highest scoring three game series, bowling a 561, and a single game-high of 191; Denny Hoxie, who bowled a 511 three-game series, and Walt Schermerhorn, who rolled a 543 series on the night, and racked up the highest single game tally, with 231.
