Golden marketing experiences growth
COLUMBUS – Golden Artist Colors announces the recent hire of Brent DeLanoy to its Marketing team. DeLanoy joins the Marketing team as Brand Community Coordinator for all three Golden Artist Colors brands: Golden Acrylics, Williamsburg Handmade Oils, and QoR® Watercolor. He will also support the Paintworks Division of the company.
In his role as Brand Community Coordinator, DeLanoy is responsible for activities and communications in the public space, particularly social media venues, development of customer electronic communications (e-mail and messaging), and analysis of these activities.
“As a company, we are putting more emphasis on connecting with various artist communities through social media, so we’re excited to welcome Brent to the Marketing team,” Dana Rice, Marketing Director of Golden Artist Colors said. “Social media is an area where we can be a catalyst in bridging creative communities, increase our Brand awareness across the globe, and act as a resource for artists. Filling this new Marketing role was essential in continuing our engagement and dialog with artists no matter where they are located.”
Prior to joining Golden, DeLanoy earned his MFA in Creative Writing from New Mexico State University and taught English and Creative Writing at SUNY Oneonta and Hartwick College. After finishing a contract as Visiting Assistant Professor of English at Hartwick, DeLanoy worked as a freelance writer and photographer.
DeLanoy currently resides in Oneonta with his wife and children.
