Man accused of unlawful imprisonment, assault, weapons possession

NORWICH – A 32-year-old Norwich man sits in the local jail following his arrest on multiple felony and misdemeanor charges.
James S. McIntosh, Norwich, was arrested at 4:43 p.m. Thursday by a Norwich Police Officer.
While no specifics surrounding the arrest have been released by authorities yet, The Evening Sun has contacted the chief for comment.
McIntosh was charged with reckless endangerment in the first degree, a class D felony; unlawful imprisonment in the first degree, a class E felony; menacing in the second degree, a class A misdemeanor; criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree, a class A misdemeanor; assault in the third degree, a class A misdemeanor; criminal obstruction of breath or blood, a class a misdemeanor; and criminal mischief in the fourth degree, a class A misdemeanor.
McIntosh was arraigned and remanded to the Chenango County Correctional Facility in lieu of $25,000 cash bail or $25,000 bond.
