Delhi mercy ruled, BG wins big at home

BAINBRIDGE-GUILFORD – The lady bobcats, completed the sweep of Delhi in fashion when they mercy ruled Delhi in the middle of the fifth inning to win 16-0.
It was the offense who shined for the ladies as soon as the second inning when they began their onslaught of points on Delhi.
BG saw A. Hovey, R. Smith, M. O'Hara all end the five inning game with 2 runs batted in; A. Miller added an additional RBI. But it was on the backs of M. Swartwout who had three RBI's and K. Thornton who had five RBI's that the offense really shined through for the lady bobcats.
Bases were easy to come by as well, as the lady bobcats stole a total of six bases, two of which were stolen by O'Hara.
BG softball, also now 2-0, will be hosting visiting Harpursville later this evening at 4:30 p.m., whether permitting.
