Work on Clinton Street will expand to others
Pictured is the excavation of gas lines on Clinton Street in Norwich. NYSEG is currently replacing the gas lines below the paved streets. After the lines have been replaced, the Suit-Kote Corporation out of Cortland, who bid on the project, will be coming in toward the end of Summer 2016, to mill the roads in preparation of the Norwich City DPW who will be repaving the following streets: Grove Ave. (from East Main to Marconi Ave.); Maydole Street, (from Midland Drive to the Fairgrounds entrance); Taylor Ave.; Burr Ave.; Clinton Street; Hayward Ave.; and Waite Street (on the west end, all the way to Adams Street). Further information will appear in a later Edition of the Evening Sun if it becomes available.
