Norwich softball earns a mental win despite loss

“Not a win, but on paper it was. Hannah pitched better it was great game. I told them I wanted them to play better and they did,” said Norwich head coach Scott Moore.

The game was all about defense and pitching as neither team recorded many runs.

Norwich pitcher held SV in check with her improved pitching from the first time these teams met on opening day, Norwich would lose that game 7-0.

“I told Hannah to start the game, she was trying to keep up with Pappas last game. So I told her to stay in her own zone and do what you she had to do and she'd pitch fine,” said Moore.
