NORWICH – After enjoying their landmark tenth win of the season the previous day, the Norwich varsity softball team suffered a late game loss to the visiting Chenango Forks Blue Devils, at 4-3 on May 10.

“We had them, it was a really good game,” said Norwich head coach Scott Moore. “We had bases loaded there in the sixth and Hannah (Eddy) got a two run double to put us up.”

After giving up two early runs to the Blue Devils, with one coming in the first and one coming in the fifth, Norwich saw their bats awaken for an inning to take the late lead at 3-2, when they managed a three run inning in the sixth.
