Sergeant Major speaks in South New Berlin for Memorial Day

The South New Berlin Memorial Day guest speaker was Army Sergeant Major (retired) John J. Sheldon. Sergeant Major Sheldon is a retired Army veteran with 22 years of service. Sergeant Major Sheldon went to combat in Iraq with the 101st Airborne Division. The Memorial Day speech started at 11:00am at the South New Berlin Fire House. A parade followed proceeding south to the Riverside Cemetery. A short service, military honors, taps, and a final prayer was held at the Riverside Cemetery concluding the program.
