Chenango Board of Elections announces new Bainbridge poll site
BAINBRIDGE – Effective with the upcoming federal primary election on June 28, 2016, those eligible registered voters in the Republican party will cast their ballots at the new poll site location in Bainbridge.
The Bainbridge Historical Society situated at 38 South Main Street is that new poll site. Going forward, this is where all primary and general elections conducted by the Chenango County Board of Elections will be held.
For primary elections, the Chenango County poll sites will be open from noon to 9 p.m. Please note that urban areas in counties such as Ulster and Erie open at 5 a.m. for primary elections due to their large populations. Such is not the case in Chenango County.
Poll site hours for general elections will be 5 a.m. to 9 p. m. throughout New York State regardless of county.
