Trial for man charged with sex crimes begins today

NORWICH – The trial of Kyle J. Hackett begins Tuesday at the Chenango County Courthouse, in the City of Norwich. First Assistant District Attorney Michael D. Ferrarese will be prosecuting the case, while The Honorable Judge Frank B. Revoir Jr. will be presiding over matter. Hackett will be represented by defense attorney George Hildebrandt.

Hackett is charged with rape in the first degree, a class B felony; sexual abuse in the first degree, a class D felony; and endangering the welfare of a child, a class A misdemeanor.
