Kids at Gibson Primary held an Olympic sized celebration on Friday as students, teachers, and faculty participated in the school's end of the year bash. The theme this year was the Olympics. Each class represented a different country in various games that were played throughout the day. The opening event was also attended by special guest Dan Ketchum, a 2004 Olympic gold medalist in the 4x200 swimming relay. Ketchum spoke to students about the value of hard work and determination, and the the importance of not giving up in the face of adversity. Pictured are students gathered around their Olympic torch with gold medalist Olympian Dan Ketchum standing in back.
