A healthcare executive and evangelical Christian writer, Dotty J. Bollinger is openly passionate about mentoring professional women and enjoys coaching them toward their 'kingdom' success in the marketplace and at home.
Bollinger was born and raised in McDonough. As a nurse and an attorney, Bollinger served as SVP of Risk Management and General Counsel for Horizon Bay Senior Communities. Most recently, Bollinger served as President and Chief Operating Officer for Laser Spine Institute.
Bollinger, author of “Women of Faith in the Marketplace: Finding Your Kingdom Purpose,” “…aims to guide women along the path to success—whether that's as a receptionist, mail clerk, human resources manager, or even chief executive officer. Through reflection on faith, women can find that they have been strategically positioned and generously equipped for God’s ministry right where they are, whatever their professional designation.”
Bollinger, alongside her husband Jim, serves healthcare practices all over the United States with their consulting firm based in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. Using herself as an example, this book acts as a guide for women of faith who have a passion for making a difference in their homes, communities, and workplaces. The idea that when seeking a deeper purpose in their lives, Christian women can also rise up as leaders is a main key to the book.
This book encourages women of faith to consider the possibility that if women “lead by serving and serve by leading,” they can balance relationships, expectations, and pressures with conviction, poise, and integrity, said Bollinger.
