Macker trifecta contest a success
NORWICH – There were two winners of the 'trifecta contest', held by New York Central Mutual Insurance at the 21st annual Gus Macker Tournament in Norwich last weekend, which benefited Cameron Naubereit, a local boy battling brain cancer.
Kaia Henderson, 12, of New Hartford, NY, and Kyle France, 11, of Cherry Valley, NY, each were awarded $1,000.
NYCM collected $610 from the contest from donations, and ultimately donated $1,500 to Cameron. Although Cameron was unable to be at the contest, his grandparents and aunt were there to watch, and even used Facetime so that Cameron could see the final round.
