Kurt Beyer Pool open

Submitted Photo

Notwithstanding fears that the Kurt Beyer Pool in Norwich would be closed for the season, necessary repairs to the pool have finally been made and swimming was opened to the public on Wednesday. Summer pool hours will be from noon until 6 p.m., with swim lessons resuming at 9:30 a.m. on Thursdays and swim team practices at 4 p.m. on weekdays. Swim meets are scheduled between Norwich and Oneida (July 14), Sherill (July 19), and Hamilton (July 21). Meets will start later in the evening and will not affect regular open swim hours.
