Submitted Photo
More than 120 people visited a number of local maple producers as part of the 2016 New York State Maple Tour that was held July 17-19. The tour was hosted by the Chenango County Area Maple Producers Association of NYSMPA Central Association and the Cornell Cooperative Extension of Chenango County. Participants, including some from Canada and parts of the northeast, toured 12 sugarhouses in five counties this year, giving them an opportunity to share ideas and information about the latest maple technology. Pictured are photos of folks visiting the Foggy Hollow Maple Farm in South Otselic, owned by Larry and Natasha Selan.
