Local business founder celebrates 85th birthday amongst four generations of family
NORWICH - Lewis Morse, founder of L.W. Morse & Son, celebrated his 85th birthday on July 2nd amongst four generations of Morses.
Lewis and his wife Dixie have been married for over sixty years. Together they have six children, 19 grandchildren, and 32 great-grandchildren.
Lewis served in the Navy during World War II and he was a member of the American Legion and VFW. Since his retirement in 1996, Lewis has spent his time maintaining over 100 acres of family land.
The Morses will be celebrating their family reunion this weekend and all four generations will be in attendance.
