Three arrested on burglary charges

NORWICH – Three individuals were arrested and arraigned this week relating to an alleged burglary of a home in the City of Norwich.
Donald Towndrow, 26, of Norwich; Nicholas Wright, 26, of Norwich; and Koty Head, 27, of Norwich were all arrested and charged with one count of burglary in the second degree, a class C felony, and petit larceny, a class A misdemeanor.
Detective Sergeant Reuben Roach, of the Norwich Police Department, said, “After a lengthy investigation, we were able to make an arrest of three individuals involved in a burglary of a home in Norwich. The subjects were cooperative with the investigation and were each arraigned and remanded to the custody of the Chenango County Correctional Facility in lieu of $3,500 cash bail.”
It is believed that the individuals broke into the home through an unlocked window and proceeded to steal construction tools.
All the defendants are set to appear in Chenango County Court at a later date.
