Matthews GM Center hosts third annual American Muscle Cruise-In
VESTAL - For the third straight year, Matthews GM Center and Southern Tier Harley-Davidson have partnered up to host the American Muscle Cruise-In featuring a display of locally owned American made muscle cars and Harley-Davidson motorcycles.
This summer’s Cruise-In will take place on Saturday, August 13th from noon to 4 p.m. at the Matthews GM Center beside the waterfalls at 3721 Old Vestal Road, Vestal, NY. All proceeds from the event will go towards the Mercy House of the Southern Tier in Endicott.
The Mercy House is a community care shelter that provides housing and support to people with terminal illnesses who are unable to remain at home. The Mercy House’s mission is to unconditionally accept each resident and ensure they spend their days there treated with dignity, respect, and compassion. Father Clarence will be at the function representing the Mercy House.
Admission to the event is free. Organizers are expecting hundreds of cars and motorcycles as well as thousands of spectators. There will be live music, 50-50 raffles, basket raffles, free giveaways, a wide variety of food vendors, ice cream, and more.
Cars and motorcycles can become eligible for judging for a small fee of $5. Anyone can voice their opinion in the judging process by making a donation of $1 or $5 dollars.
Southern Tier Harley-Davidson will be organizing a motorcycle ride from their store at 1152 Upper Front St. in Binghamton to the event. The ride will begin at 11:30 a.m.
