Firewood to be auctioned as fundraiser for nearby children's hospitals

BOONVILLE - Log-A-Load for Kids is auctioning off a truckload of log-length firewood donated by Beers Logging company to raise money for local Children’s Miracle Network hospitals.

The tri-axle load of timber was harvested locally and will be shipped free of charge to the highest bidder within 30 miles of Earlville, NY.

Log-A-Load for Kids is the Empire State Forest Products Association’s (ESFPA) charitable contribution to local communities. The benefaction from Beers Logging is a recurring donation to Log-A-Load, and the funds collected from the highest bidder will go directly to this area’s nearest Children’s Miracle Network Hospital.

The load of logs should yield at least 18 face-cords of firewood once cut and split by the purchaser. The requested minimum bid of $500 or more should be submitted by email to emowrey12@gmail.com before noon on Sunday, August 21 for consideration. Telephone bids will also be accepted.
