Grove Ave. Meth bust

Norwich Police executed a 'no knock' warrant at 14 Grove Avenue in Norwich early Wednesday morning. According to Narcotics Detective Michael Purdy, multiple tips were submitted to the police regarding possible drug activity, which led to an investigation and the subsequent warrant permitting entry to the residence. Purdy said many of the tips reported heavy traffic in and out of the residence. Two were taken into custody, and the investigation is continuing. According to police, the tips reported the possibility of meth on the premises. Further information will be released as it is made available.
