Make A Shot Happen offers flu clinics for Chenango’s seniors
CHENANGO COUNTY – The Chenango County Health Department and the Chenango County Area Agency on Aging will be holding their annual event for Seniors, age 60 years and older on Tuesday September 27, from 9 a.m.—11:30 a.m. at the Norwich Family YMCA.
This Event will feature the flu vaccine, given by Health Department staff, and a variety of displays and screenings on health related topics from over a dozen community agencies. There will be a variety of prizes and giveaways. Snacks will be provided. There will also be a raffle for free winter warm up kits.
Vaccines are Covered By:
• Medicare Part B – No Charge (must show your Medicare card)
• Age 60+ without Medicare - $17 per person (Cash or Check payable to “Chenango County Area Agency on Aging”
• We cannot accept a Medicare Advantage Plan (such as Today’s Options) as payment.
In addition, county residents can bring expired or unused prescription medications for proper disposal to this event with the exception of liquid medications and over-the-counter products.
