Fall arts workshops offered at Chenango Arts Council

NORWICH – The Chenango Arts Council recently released its Fall Workshop catalog filled with a wide variety of classes for every age and skill level.
Courses offered at the Council are taught by professional artists and teachers from throughout Chenango County.
“The Arts Council has been working diligently with our local artists and arts educators to offer high quality instruction opportunities to the community in our facility,” said CAC Executive Director Diane Batson-Smith. “These classes are an important part of our mission to instill a strong sense of cultural diversity into our rural community through the arts.”
From sculpture, ceramics, stained glass instruction to mask and ornament making, screen printing; Batson-Smith says that the workshops offered through the Arts Council are varied enough for everyone to find something that piques their artist interest.
In addition to fine arts, courses focused on Art Therapy and even Youth Portfolio Preparation are a service to those who have an unmet needs not available elsewhere on a local level, enabling those looking to build on a future in the arts to learn the ins and outs of creating a professional art portfolio.
The classes are filled on a first-come first-served basis, so early registration is advised.
