BAINBRIDGE – The lady Bobcats of Bainbridge-Guilford made short work of Delhi who came to visit on Friday, Sept. 23.
The Bobcats would secure the 3-0 win over Delhi, which now moves them to a 6-0 record, 5-0 in the league.
The dominating win in three sets saw BG steamroll Delhi 25-11, 25-12, and 25-17, for the sixth win of the season.
In the win for BG, the Selfridge sisters Abigail and Erica would show true star potential both racking up big numbers in the stat columns. Tenth grader Abigail would have nine aces, 12 assists, and 11 kills; while eighth grader Erica would have only one ace, but would record a massive 17 assists and six kills. Sophomores Zamira Caldwell and Alexis Carr would also contribute heavily to the win with Caldwell nabbing seven aces and three kills and Carr have three aces and three kills.
In the loss for Delhi, Adia Vohs would enjoy the most success for the Bulldogs as she would have five aces and five assists. Maddie Saleman would record six digs and one kill, while Faith Spangler would see one block and one kill go her way.
Bainbridge-Guilford (6-0 overall, 5-0 league) will see little to no downtime as they will travel to Hancock on Monday, Sept. 26. The game is set to begin later on today at 5 p.m.
