NORWICH – The Chenango Health Network has announced a financial assistance program to aid women with a breast cancer or gynecological cancer diagnosis in an effort to increase access to health care services in Chenango County.

Women with a breast cancer or gynecological cancer diagnosis are encouraged to contact the Chenango Health Network to see if services to benefit their ailment are available.

Examples of the types of assistance that will be considered include: travel expenses, co-payments for prescriptions or health care providers, wound care systems, lymphedema treatment, prostheses, post-surgical clothing and wigs, as well as other treatments not covered by insurance such as acupuncture or massage therapy.
