Tornado boys routed by relentless Chenango Forks offense

NORWICH – The Norwich boy's varsity soccer team were hammered 9-0 by a much stronger Chenango Forks side on Tuesday, Sept. 27.
Five players got on the score sheet for the Blue Devils, with Josh Sharff netting a hat-trick. Vladimir Lavrinovich and Justin Gossley each added a brace for their side in the comfortable victory.
“They were just the better team,” said Norwich head coach Scottie Decker following the loss. “We tried, but I can't say that we played our best. We were very flat in the back.”
The Tornado venture to Oneonta today in search of their first victory of the season. Kickoff in that matchup is slated for 7 p.m.
