Trailer destroyed in Tuesday morning blaze

PHARSALIA — Fire companies from at least six area fire houses responded to a mutual aid request from Chenango County 911 dispatch early Tuesday Morning.
According to Fire Officials, a trailer residence at 108 Nichols Lane in the Town of Pharsalia was fully involve upon arrival of first responders, and the home—which had been evacuated—has been deemed a total loss.
Pharsalia command received mutual aid support from McDonough, Preston, South Otselic and Cincinnatus. City of Norwich Fire and were also called, but were quickly called off
Command reported smoke and flames from a secondary structure approximately 30 feet away.
County scanner reports indicate that fire investigators were requested as well, and the cause is still be handled by that department.
No injuries were reported.
