NORWICH – It's no secret that dogs are man's best friend, but what happens when you bring man's best friend into the workplace?

According to employees of New Media Retailer (NMR) in Norwich, the perks of having pets in the workplace are plentiful.

“Having Saint in the office with us creates a more comfortable environment for everybody,” said NMR Marketing Specialist Jacqueline Turner. “Spending time with Saint keeps us relaxed at work and makes us more productive throughout the day.”

Saint is a 10 month old cockapoo –a cocker-spaniel and poodle mix –and she is hypoallergenic and does not shed. She has been coming into the NMR office everyday along with her owner, NMR Director of Marketing & Corporate Relations Francesca Baio, since she was just eight weeks old.

Baio says that even as a puppy, it only took a week or two before Saint was accustomed to coming into work with her. Ever since, employees of NMR have looked forward to coming into the office each day to see the lovable little fluff ball.
