CHENANGO COUNTY – Make sure you grab a copy of The Evening Sun on Monday, Nov. 8, to read up on The Norwich Cross Country team, as well as the varsity swimming teams from Greene, Sherburne-Earlville, and Norwich; and varsity volleyball team's from Norwich, Oxford, Bainbridge-Guilford, and Unadilla Valley.
Sports Editor's Note: Due to full results not being reported from some school’s it was decided to hold off the reporting of these playoff teams until Monday's publication. As of Friday, Nov. 4, the only remaining varsity volleyball team still active in Chenango County is Bainbridge-Guilford who will advance to the finals of the Section IV Class C Championships on Saturday, Nov. 5, at 6:30 p.m. in Corning. Norwich will advance to the finals in swimming on Nov. 4, in Owego.
