Ladies Day Out event held over the weekend
NORWICH – The 2016 All I Want for Christmas Ladies Day Out was held on Saturday, November 5 at the Loft at Label Gallery in Norwich.
More than 240 guests were treated to a day of shopping, food, music by Shelly Harris and Mike O’Connor, a massage, a photo booth and other various activities. Vendors included baked goods, jewelry, candles and entertaining décor, home décor, clothing, scarves, and other items.
Event organizers, Donna Purdy and Chris Ulatowski began four years ago as a way for local, small business to showcase their specialties to family and friends in preparation of the holiday season. “Small businesses in our area have so much to offer but may not have a storefront,” said Purdy. “This is an opportunity for our family and friends to see what’s out there, make contacts and shop local for the holidays. Chris and I are both small business owners and appreciate the support we have gotten from our community. This is an opportunity for us to pay it forward.”
Linda Holt has been a guest since the first event. “What a wonderful selection of vendors brought together for a day of shopping. I look forward to this event to get a jump start on my Holiday shopping and am never disappointed,” said Holt.
