Burrs to retire after 25-year-career as Justice

SMYRNA- Longtime Town and Village Justice of Smyrna, Gerrard Burrs, has announced that he will be retiring from his position as Justice on Dec. 31, 2016. Gerrard Burrs has served the community of Smyrna as Justice for 25 years. Burrs has said that he looks forward to traveling and other adventures that the future may hold while being retired. On behalf of The Evening Sun we would like to thank you for your service as Smyrna Town and Village Justice and we wish you a happy retirement.
