Ivarson honored as 'Public Works Leader of the Year'
CANASTOTA – On Nov. 17, the American Public Works Association (APWA) presented City of Norwich Public Works Superintendent Carl Ivarson with the Public Works Leader of the Year Award.
APWA's Awards Program was established “to recognize outstanding individuals, groups, and chapters representing the best in the public works profession.”
City of Norwich Mayor Christine Carnrike and Alderman Ward 2 Brian Doliver accompanied Ivarson to the ceremony and APWA Central Branch 2016 Awards Dinner last Thursday night at the Rusty Rail in Canastota.
