Marauder swimming drops to 0-3 to start the season

SHERBURNE – The Sherburne-Earlville varsity boys swimming team has now fell to a defeated 0-3 record to open up the 2016-2017 season – following a close loss to Holland Patent.

The swim meet held at Sherburne-Earlville High School on Dec. 6, gave way to a Holland Patent win at a score of 54-38 in favor of HP.

Holland Patent managed to secure nine of the 11 first place finishes in the meet, as a comeback with only two overall wins seemed insurmountable. However, a resilient S-E squad would battle to just a 16 point loss on the night, after they two first place finishes and six second place spots.
