College student, 18, dies in crash on western New York road
GENESEO (AP) - Police say an 18-year-old college student has died in a collision on a western New York road.
The Livingston County Sheriff’s Office says the woman was driving a car around 2:30 p.m. Tuesday when she pulled into the path of tractor-trailer at an intersection on Route 63 near the SUNY Geneseo campus in the village of Geneseo.
The woman’s name hasn’t been released, but deputies say she was a student at the college.
The cause of the crash is being investigated.
