Jon Heggie wins fight number nine

SYRACUSE – Jon Heggie, a senior at Oxford Academy High School has now climbed to a 9-0 overall record with his most recent win earlier this December.
Heggie competes – and wins – in semi-professional boxing to which he most recently defeated Christopher Williams of Rochester St. Martin, on Dec. 10, by decision.
With his ninth win under his belt, Heggie will go back to training for the time being where he will have his sights set on reaching double digit wins when his next fight comes around.
This next fight for Heggie will come early in January, when he get in the ring on the second or third Saturday of January. This fight will be followed with another on January 29, when the Golden Glove Tournament begins – this tournament will give Heggie around two fights per month until the completion of said tournament in April.
