S-E swimming and diving falls to New Hartford

NEW HARTFORD – Sherburne-Earlville boys varsity swim team has not dropped to a 3-8 season record after their latest loss on the road to New Hartford.

New Hartford recorded three first place spots in the loss – as they impressively closed out the meet finishing in first for the three last events on the day, Jan. 19.

Taking home a first in the 100 Backstroke was S-E's Mathew Ryan who glided to a 1:15.92 time for the win. In the 100 Breaststroke it was Ed Geier who swam home for the win with a time of 1:23.15. To close out the meet loss for the Marauders it was the 400 freestyle relay team – Larchar, Rinaldo, Wilson, Ryan – who earned the win with a time of 4:08.51.
