SHERBURNE – Head coach Ed Holmquist and his two standout seniors from this year's varsity volleyball team at Sherburne-Earlville recently traveled to take part in the NYSPHSAA Center State Conference Exceptional Senior Invitational Volleyball Tournament.
S-E senior's Alexa Bates and Abbey Stratton took part in the invitational on March 1.
“The all-star senior game was a combination of girls throughout the section III teams, it was a great night of spirited competition,” said coach Holmquist.
The teams involved in the 2016-2017 all-star game were: Adirondack, Canastota, Clinton, Cooperstown, Dolgeville, Frankfort, Herkimer, Holland-Patent, Little Falls, Morrisville, Mt. Markham, New York Mills, Old Forge, Owen D. Young, Remsen, Sauquoit, Sherburne-Earlville, Waterville, and Westmoreland.
