Monday Evening Music Club to present tribute to ‘Music in Our Schools’ month

NORWICH – Monday Evening Music Club (MEMC) will be showcasing its 107th annual tribute to “Music in Our Schools” month on Monday, March 13, featuring pianists and singers from Sherburne-Earlville School, Holy Family, and Norwich City Schools – including the entire cast of Norwich High School's production of The Addam's Family.
The program will begin at 7:30 p.m. at the United Church of Christ located at 11 West Main Street in Norwich.
Performing on piano from Norwich will be eighth grader Nick Deady, 11th grader Isaac Austin, and fourth grader Mikhayla Mercado Reyes. The pianist from Sherburne-Earlville will be third grader Tali Sawyer.
While the event is free and open to the public, free-will donations are accepted and appreciated by MEMC. Donations will go towards MEMC's annual scholarship fund for graduating Chenango County students who wish to pursue a college major in music.
A reception will follow the program. All are welcome and encouraged to attend.
