Maple Madness wraps up the Oxford Winter Farmers’ Market
OXFORD– What better way to “tap into spring” than by celebrating its sweetest harvest? Come to the season’s final Oxford Winter Farmers’ Market this Saturday, April 1, to stock up on maple products by local producers. The market runs from 10-1 p.m.,, at the Parish House Community Center of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church on Main Street in the Village of Oxford.
Maple is one of the most delectable products from our region, helping to signal the advent of spring. Freshly made 2017 maple syrup, candy, sugar, sugar coated-nuts, and maple cream will be offered by local producers Vigus Enterprise, Mead’s Maple Products, and Walling’s Maple Syrup. For shoppers 21 and older, don’t leave the market without sampling Black Bear Winery’s Maple Dream wine and Cracklin’ Maple hard cider.
